π Overview
If you'd like to sell a single workout video that's only available to customers for a limited time, you can do this by combining a Prepaid Plan with an On Demand Collection. The expiration on the Prepaid Plan controls how long customers can watch, and the Collection is what links the membership to the video itself.
This guide walks you through the two steps to set this up.
π‘ For background on how On Demand Content works overall, see the full overview here.
π οΈ Setup
Setting up a one-off piece of content takes two steps. The first creates the Prepaid Plan that controls access and price, and the second creates the Collection that holds the video.
π Step 1: Create the Prepaid Plan
Head to Memberships β Memberships β click 'Add a Membership' and choose the Prepaid Plan option. Three sections of the create form are key when setting up a one-off piece of content.
π‘ For full guidance on every setting on the Prepaid Plan create form, see the dedicated guide here.
Duration
In the Duration section, set the expiration on the membership. Customers will be able to watch the video for as long as the membership is valid, and access ends when it expires.
Price
In the Price section, enter the price of the video. To offer the video for free, enter "0".
Usability
Under Usability, the default settings can stay as they are because this membership won't be used to book classes, appointments, or courses.
π¬ Step 2: Create the On Demand Collection
Once the Prepaid Plan is saved, create a Collection in the On Demand section, add the video to it, and link the Collection to the Prepaid Plan you just created.
π‘ For step-by-step instructions on creating a Collection and adding video content, see the guide here.
Once both steps are complete, customers can purchase the Prepaid Plan to gain access to the video for the access window you set.
