π Overview
Before getting started with the On Demand Content feature, you'll need to host your videos with a third-party platform, as videos can't be stored on TeamUp directly. We recommend platforms that allow private or unlisted videos so you can control who has access to your content.
β Customers can only view your content while the file exists on your hosting platform. If you delete a video from the platform, customers will no longer be able to view it on TeamUp.
π‘ If your hosting platform supports oEmbed (like Vimeo), customers will be able to watch videos directly on TeamUp. If not, they'll be redirected to the hosting platform.
πΊ Recommended platforms
The following third-party platforms support hosting private or unlisted videos for use with TeamUp's On Demand Content.
1οΈβ£ Vimeo
Vimeo is TeamUp's recommended platform. It offers generous storage plans, full oEmbed support, and customisable privacy settings. Vimeo's domain-level privacy lets you specify which websites are allowed to embed your videos, preventing link sharing to non-TeamUp customers. You can also remove the option for customers to download your videos.
For Vimeo videos to play on TeamUp, set the privacy to Private with embed permission set to Specific domains, and add TeamUp to the allowed domains. Make sure the video is not password-protected.

2οΈβ£ YouTube
YouTube offers free unlimited cloud storage. If you're using YouTube, set each video to Unlisted, not Private (videos set to Private are only viewable by you). For details on making videos unlisted, see YouTube's guide here.
3οΈβ£ Dailymotion
Dailymotion offers free unlimited video hosting.
4οΈβ£ Zoom
Zoom offers cloud hosting for recorded sessions, useful if you want to share recordings of live online classes with your customers.
π‘ TeamUp integrates with Zoom. Schedule your classes on TeamUp and let the integration handle creating Zoom meetings and sending the link to your customers. For more on the Zoom integration, see the guide here.

My Vimeo videos will not play on TeamUp, what do I check?

Vimeo videos need to be embeddable on TeamUp's domain to play. In your Vimeo video settings, set the privacy to Private with embed permission set to Specific domains, and add TeamUp to the allowed domains list. Make sure the video is not password-protected.
If you have multiple videos to update, use Vimeo's bulk edit feature to apply these settings to all videos at once.
My Vimeo videos play on the Customer Site but not on the Member Booking App, what should I do?

The Member Booking App uses a different domain than the Customer Site, so videos may need additional permissions to play in the app. The recommended fix is to set the Vimeo video privacy to Unlisted with embed permission set to Anywhere. This keeps the video hidden from Vimeo's public site and search engines, but allows it to play across all environments without domain verification.
Can I upload videos directly to TeamUp?

No. Videos cannot be stored on TeamUp directly, they need to be hosted on a third-party platform such as Vimeo, YouTube, or Dailymotion. When adding content to On Demand on TeamUp, you'll paste the video URL from your hosting platform.
What happens if I delete a video from my hosting platform?

Customers will no longer be able to view that video on TeamUp. The On Demand Content feature pulls the video directly from your hosting platform, so the file must exist on the platform for it to play.
Are there limits on video size or number of views?

Both depend on your hosting platform. TeamUp does not impose its own limits on video size or view count. Check your hosting platform's plan details for their specific limits.
