Registration settings - set how far in advance customers can register for classes

You may want to restrict how far in advance your customers can book. For example, you may want to stop customers booking well in advance, so that you can make changes to future classes if needed i.e. cancel time off for holidays.

The 'Registrations open' setting allows you to do just this. You can have one advance registration limit for all class types, or create as many as you need for your different class types.

To control this head to Settings >> Registration >> Registration Timelines.

Here, to manage the 'Registrations open' setting, you'll need to edit an existing timeline or create a new one.

You will be able to specify how many days in advance a customer can register. If for example, you decide on a 7-day limit for your Strength class, a customer will be able to book a Monday 7 am class at 7:01 am the week before.

Note. the registration open time must be greater than the registration close time.

To do this, within the selected timeline, enter the desired advance registration limit in 'Registrations open', select the class types it should apply to, and click 'Save'.

Note: When you create a new class type, you will be asked which registration timeline you would like to add to it.

If you need to set different limits for each class, you would go back to Settings >> Registration >> Registration Timelines and add a new registration timeline for each class.

Note: Since timelines also include the cancellation cutoff and registrations close settings, you would need to either edit an existing timeline and add the class type to it, or create a new timeline if you need an all-new settings combo.

Here's an example of what multiple timelines with different 'Registrations open' settings might look like on your business dashboard. In this example, Strength and CrossFit class types each have their own advance registration limit, and 1-2-1, HIIT share the same limit.

Tip: This is great for any special events you may have, where you want customers to register well in advance, without affecting other classes.
