Can customers unregister from a Zoom class?

This guide explains how customers unregister from an online class, what happens to their join link, and how registration timelines control cancellations.

📝 Overview

Customers can unregister from an online class just as they would from a regular class, using the Customer Site or the customer booking app.

This guide explains what happens to their join link when they cancel, and how your registration timelines control when customers can cancel.

🔗 What happens to the join link

When a customer unregisters 15 minutes or more before the class starts, their join link immediately becomes invalid. If they try to use it after cancelling, it will redirect them to the class detail page instead.

⚠️ If a customer cancels within the 15 minutes before the class and has already been redirected to the stream, they may still be able to join. You can remove an attendee from the meeting within Zoom if you need to.

📆 Controlling cancellations with registration timelines

You can use registration timelines to set how far in advance customers can book, when registrations close, and a cancellation cutoff. Cancellations made after the cutoff are treated as late cancellations and are not refunded.
