This notification lets you fully customise membership purchase emails, sent to business users and/or customers, with different content depending on the purchase made.
For example, you could email a customer every time they purchase a membership, send specific instructions for a particular membership, or email only on a customer's first-ever purchase.
š ļø Set Up the Notification
Head to Communications ā Notifications ā Customer Membership Lifecycle ā Purchase/Initiation Confirmation ā click Detail.
š” By default, all super admins at the business are emailed when a membership purchase is made. Click the Add action dropdown to add a new email notification.
āļø Add a Customer Email
Options include:
Always sending an email when a membership purchase is made.
Sending an email for a specific membership purchase.
Sending an email when a membership was added to a customer's account from the business side, renewed, upgraded, or downgraded.
Sending an email only if the membership was the first on the customer's account.
You can combine multiple conditions. In the example below, the customer is emailed if they're buying the '2 classes per week' membership, and it's the first time they've owned it.
ā ļø Each condition can only be used once per notification, so to send the same message for multiple memberships, create a separate notification for each one.
Once you're happy with your conditions, click Continue.
āļø Write the Email
Enter your email subject and body. Use placeholders in the subject or body to auto-complete fields. In the example below, the customer's first name and the membership name are auto-completed.
Click Save Action to finalise your message. Your notification is now live and will be sent each time the relevant membership purchase is made.

Can I send the same email for multiple memberships in one notification?
