📝 Overview

Customers can register for classes either by:

  • Paying a drop-in fee

  • Using a membership credit

  • Using a membership and also charging a per-registration fee

We'll look into each of these options, and how you can edit them for specific class-types.

💡 You also have the option to add Alternate Pricing for specific sessions/class times, which you can find more information about here.

🛠️ Accessing the Payment Settings

In order to edit the prices for a specific class type you'll need to go to:

Class Types

➔ Select a Class Type

Settings & Pricing

➔ Select Edit next to Pricing

From here you can edit the price for your class type, and more information for each method will be outlined below.

1️⃣ Paying a Drop-In fee

Click here to find out more about drop-in fees

Drop in fees are an way for customers to register for a single session without having to purchase a membership.

This can either be set to Yes or No, and when set to Yes, you can enter the cost for a single session.

2️⃣ Using a membership Credit

Click here to find out more about Membership Credits

When you set up a membership, you can choose which class types it gives customers access to. If a membership is selected here, customers who own it will be able to register for that class type. Any memberships that aren’t selected don’t currently include access to this class type.

You can check or uncheck memberships in this list to add or remove access.
If you tick a membership that was previously unticked, it will now include this class type, without any usage limits by default.

🧠 Example: In the screenshot above, the Krav Maga for Beginners membership (which includes 20 class credits per month) is not selected. This means customers with that membership can’t register for Advanced: BJJ classes.

Once it’s selected, Krav Maga for Beginners members will have access to Advanced: BJJ sessions.

By default, there are no additional limits, so they could use their existing 20 credits toward those classes.

If you’d like to limit how many Advanced: BJJ sessions can be booked using this membership, you’ll need to set a usage limit directly in the membership settings.

💡 You can find more details about setting usage limits here

3️⃣ Membership & Charging a Per-Registration Fee

Click here to find out more about using a Membership with a Per-Registration Fee

When you set a membership to grant access to a class type, you also have the option to charge a per registration fee, which allows customers who own that membership to be able to access the class type by paying a registration fee.

This allows you to charge customers on a specific membership to pay a registration fee which is less than the drop-in fee.

🧠 Example: In the above screenshot we see the drop-in fee for this class type is set at £11.00 and the Climbers Plan membership beneath also charges a per-registration fee of £5.00.

This means it will charge a class credit plus a £5.00 fee, and this will only be specific to customers registering for sessions of this class type using the Climbers Plan
