How to create a class that repeats every 2, 3, 4 weeks

This guide explains how to schedule a class time slot that repeats every 2, 3, or 4 weeks instead of every week.

šŸ“ Overview

If a class doesn't run every week, for example, it happens every 3 weeks, or two instructors alternate weeks, you can set this up once and the system will automatically schedule the repeating classes for you.

šŸ› ļø Set the Repeat Interval

When adding a Weekly Time Slot to your Class Type, you can choose how often it repeats.

  1. Head to Events āžœ Classes āžœ Class Types, and open the Class Type you want to schedule.

  2. Add a Weekly Time Slot with your desired day and time.

  3. Choose how often it repeats: every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks.

  4. Set your venue, instructor, and default occupancy as normal.

āš ļø When choosing a 2, 3, or 4-weekly repeat, make sure the option you select is anchored to the week your first class actually falls on, so the schedule starts on the correct week rather than one week off.

🧠 Two instructors share a Tuesday evening class and alternate weeks. You'd create two Weekly Time Slots, each repeating every 2 weeks, one for each instructor, offset so they don't land on the same week.

Can I change the repeat interval after the schedule is already live?

Click the arrow to see the answer

Yes, though the options shown depend on whether customers are already registered on the time slot. If no one is registered, you get the full range of intervals. If some upcoming sessions already have registrations, certain intervals may be hidden to avoid deleting those bookings.

This is outlined in our relevant support guide here.

Can I mix a weekly schedule and a multi-week schedule under the same Class Type?

Click the arrow to see the answer

Yes. A Class Type can have multiple Weekly Time Slots, each with its own repeat interval.
