Jump to:
In your Calendar, select Settings, and then Bulk Cancel/Mark as Closed.
This will redirect you to the page displayed below, where you can enter the dates you would like to apply this change to.
Once you enter the dates you would like to apply this change for you will then either tick the "Mark the business as closed" option, or move past this and simply select the Events and/or Venues you would like to cancel during the selected period.
For customers attending classes cancelled using this tool:
Course sessions will NOT be cancelled.
Registrations on memberships: membership usage credits will be refunded back to the membership.
Paid drop-in registrations: fees will be refunded as account credit. (No money will be refunded)
Notifications will not be sent. You will have the opportunity to copy customer emails to send your own email explaining the cancellation. This prevents the customer from receiving multiple emails, and allows you to control the messaging.
Mark the Business as Closed
If you tick the "Mark the business as closed" option, the Events and Venues options are removed as options, and you can click on Continue.
You will then see a list of all the events which will be cancelled during this period, along with the venues, date/time, and the number of attendees registered for each event.
Customers will not receive a notification about these events being cancelled, but you can send them a Broadcast SMS from within the class before the class is cancelled, but once you click on Confirm, the next page will display the list of email addresses belonging to the customers who had registered for an event which will be cancelled, and you can copy these email addresses by clicking on the "Copy to Clipboard" button, so that you can email your customers directly outside of TeamUp by pasting them into your recipients list.
Once you click on Confirm, your events during the selected period will be cancelled, and your Calendar will display these days as "Closed".
Because only Classes and Appointments are cancelled, if you would like to cancel these Course sessions, you would need to do so individually (see here) by clicking on each session and clicking on the red "Cancel Session" button at the bottom of the screen.
When you mark your business as "Closed" your Appointment Schedules for your Instructors are also Blocked during these dates, so customers can not register for new appointments.
Bulk Cancel Classes
When you want to bulk cancel classes between two dates without marking your business as closed, you can do this by skipping the "Mark the Business as Closed" option, and going directly to the Events and/or Venues options, where you can choose what sessions you would like to cancel.
Once you have selected the Events/Venues you would like to Bulk Cancel and click on Continue, you will be presented with a list of all the Events which will be cancelled during this period, along with the venues, date/time, and the number of attendees registered for each event.
Each session also has a tick-box to the far-left so that you can select which Events you would like to cancel, and so you can leave specific Events unticked so that they're not cancelled.
Customers will not receive a notification about these events being cancelled, so you send them a Broadcast SMS before the class is cancelled, but once you click on Confirm, the next page will display the list of email addresses belonging to the customers who had registered for an event which will be cancelled, and you can copy these email addresses by clicking on the "Copy to Clipboard" button, so that you can email your customers directly outside of TeamUp by pasting into your recipients list.
Once you click on Confirm, your events during the selected period will be cancelled.
How to Cancel Closing your Business (Re-Open)
If you want to cancel closing your business, there's two ways to do this.
Cancel Individual Days
You can go to the Calendar, click on any day which is currently marked as "Closed", and the following message will appear, asking if you would like to delete the Closed sign for that day.
Schedule Classes
If you schedule classes during a period where your Business is marked as Closed, it will no longer appear as closed, and customers will now be able to book Appointments again.
