π Overview
If you've been using Classes to manage your one-on-one sessions (such as Personal Training, consultations, or progress check-ins) and would like to switch to the Appointments feature, this guide walks you through the transition process step by step.
Appointments allow you and your staff to set availability so that customers can check your schedule and book their own sessions directly from the Customer Site. You can find Appointments under the Events section of your dashboard.
For more information on whether to choose Classes or Appointments for your offerings, see the overview guide here.
π‘ You can use Classes and Appointments in parallel. If you want to keep your existing Classes for one-on-ones and use Appointments for ad-hoc bookings based on staff availability, skip this guide and head to the Appointment Type setup guide here.

βArchive the one-on-one Class Type.
Head to Events β Class Types and follow the steps to archive the class here.π‘ If you had any packages or memberships linked to your one-on-one classes, these will automatically become unlinked from the Class Type when you archive it. In the next step, you can create your Appointment Type and link it to new or existing one-on-one memberships or packages.
Create your new Appointment Types. In this step, you'll replace the Class Type you just archived with an Appointment Type. Just like Class Types, Appointment Types allow you to enter details about what the session is about β but instead of linking pre-defined time slots, you will link the Appointment Type to your staff's availability. To create an Appointment Type, see the setup guide here.
βLet your customers know they can now book appointments from the Customer Site. Share the booking guide here with your customers so they know how to schedule their own appointments.
π Recurring reservations are available for Appointments. If you have customers who attend the same appointment on a regular basis (same day and time each week), you can book them in on a recurring appointment from the business side. For more information, see the recurring appointment guide here.
π§βπ» Customer View
