Changing the currency on my TeamUp account

This guide takes a look at your options when you want to change the currency your customers make payment to you with.

The currency you select when creating your TeamUp account is permanently linked to that account and can’t be changed later.

If you need to use a different currency, you’ll need to create a new TeamUp account in the correct currency.

🧠 Example: If you’re moving your business from the USA to Europe, you’ll need to stop taking payments in USD ($) and start accepting payments in EUR (€).


To do this, you’ll need to close your existing TeamUp account in the USA and create a new one based in Europe using the correct currency.
