📝 Overview
The Customer Fields page lists every field on your account. Head to Settings ➜ Customer Fields to access it.
When building a customer form, you can pull in any existing field from this list rather than starting from scratch. For example, if you need "Date of Birth" on a new form and it already exists on the customer profile, select the existing field instead of creating a duplicate.
💡 If you need a field that doesn't exist yet, you can create it while building a form, and it's added to both the form and your Customer Fields list in one step.
See the Create a Form guide here.
🔍 The Customer Field List
Fields can be reordered using drag-and-drop.
Live filtering helps you quickly find the field you're looking for.
Each row has icons showing where the field is used. A given field can have any combination of the following:
Shown on the customer profile.
Asked when adding new customers on the business dashboard.
Asked on customer forms.
A separate icon shows whether the field is visible to all staff, or only to staff with the customers permission.

Use the form filter at the top of the Customer Fields list to narrow it down to only the fields included on that form.
I have two fields asking almost the same thing. Can I combine them?

Click the arrow to see the answer
No. Data can't be merged between two fields. If you've ended up with duplicates, you'd need to export the data for both and re-enter the values against whichever field you want to keep. This is also why it's worth selecting an existing field from this list rather than creating a new one each time.
