π Overview
Multiple payment methods are supported, including online credit card payments, Direct Debit payments, and offline/cash payments. This guide explains how to configure which payment methods are available for each type of purchase, so you have full control over how your customers pay.
For example, you may want all recurring memberships to be paid via Direct Debit, while allowing credit card or cash payments for drop-ins and class packs. You can also adjust payment method settings at the individual customer level if needed.
π§ Example: While you cannot specify a payment method for a specific membership or class type, you can set different payment methods for recurring versus non-recurring purchases, and also customise payment methods for individual customers.
π οΈ How to Manage Payment Methods
Payment method settings are managed from your dashboard. To access them, go to Settings β Collect Payments β Manage Payment Methods β Manage.
If you already have a payment processor enabled, you can also access these settings via Settings β Collect Payments β Edit.
You will then see an options panel where you can select which types of purchases each payment method applies to. For example, the configuration below allows a customer to use Cash for all non-recurring transactions such as sessions/events, courses, and non-recurring memberships (class packs).
π Gift cards now have their own dedicated payment method settings, separate from store purchases. You can enable or disable specific payment methods for gift card purchases independently of your other purchase type settings.
