The All Membership Holds report lists every membership hold on your account, along with the information related to each one.
You can see memberships currently on hold, those that were on hold in the past, and those scheduled to go on hold in the future.
This guide walks you through the report, the filters you can apply, and how to download your data.

š Using the All Membership Holds Report
To open the report, go to Reports ā Memberships ā All Membership Holds.
Each hold in the report carries a status, so you can tell at a glance where it has got to.
Active | The membership is currently on hold |
Upcoming | The hold is scheduled but has not started yet |
Ended | The membership was on hold in the past |

Widgets
The first thing you will see on this page is a set of widgets, which are quick reports you can read without having to manipulate any data.
At a glance, you will be able to see:
The number of active holds you have right now
The average hold length
The membership with the most holds
The number of holds ending within the next 30 days
To see the data behind each widget, click View Report.
Filters
You can combine the following filters to narrow down the list.
Any Customer | Search a customer's name |
Any Membership | Select one or more membership names |
Any Type | Select a membership type (pack, recurring, or pre-paid plan) |
Any Status | Select a hold status: active, upcoming, or ended |
Any Creation Date | Select a date or date range for when the hold was created |
Any Start Date | Select a date or date range for when the hold begins |
Any End Date | Select a date or date range for when the hold ends |
Any Payment Calculation | View holds that resulted in no payment or credit, credit owed, or credit due |
Class Prorated? | Filter by holds that did or did not generate class usage proration |
Grouping your data
Under Show you will find several group by options, which let you build different views using one or more dimensions. In the example below, the report is grouped by hold status.
Downloading the report
To download the report, along with any additional fields you need, click the Download button in the top right to prepare your report, and once the report has finished processing on the page that loads, click on the download button again.

How can I see how a prorate or credit amount was calculated?

Click the "ā" symbol next to the payment calculation for that hold, which opens a breakdown of how the amount was worked out.

What is the difference between the creation date and the start date?

The creation date is the date you or your staff set the hold up. The start date is the date the hold actually begins.

If on 23rd December you schedule memberships to go on hold from 25th December, the creation date is 23rd December and the start date is 25th December.
Why do some holds show no payment or credit?

After a hold ends, the amount a customer owes or is owed is calculated automatically so that they do not overpay or underpay.
If you chose to override that automated calculation when setting up the hold, no payment or credit is generated. The same applies to class usage proration if the no proration option was selected.
