Your Calendar Settings control how your schedule appears to customers and how certain calendar features behave. From attendee visibility to timezone display, these settings allow you to customize the booking experience to match your business needs.

📅 How to Access Calendar Settings

You can find your Calendar settings by going to Settings Registration Calendar click 'Edit'.

From here you can edit your Calendar Settings, and you can find a breakdown of what each setting controls by clicking on the drop-down below.

Show Attendee Counts

Decide whether customers can see how many people are booked into a class, course, or event.

  • Enabled: Customers can see the number of attendees.

  • Disabled: Attendee numbers are hidden from customers.

This can help create urgency for popular sessions — or maintain privacy if preferred.

Show Waitlist Position

Choose whether customers can see their position when they join a waitlist.

  • Enabled: Customers see their place in line.

  • Disabled: Waitlist position is hidden.

Displaying waitlist position can improve transparency and reduce support questions.

Visible Calendar Filters

Control which filters customers can use when viewing your calendar.

Examples of filters may include:

  • Event Category

  • Event Type

  • Instructor

  • Location/Venue

Select only the filters that are relevant to your business to keep the booking experience simple and streamlined.

Start of Week

Set which day your calendar week begins on.

Options typically include:

  • Sunday

  • Monday

  • Custom selection

Choose the option that best aligns with your region or business operations.

Timezone Display

Control how event times are shown to customers.

  • Venue Timezone: Times are displayed based on the event’s location.

  • Customer Timezone: Times automatically adjust to the customer’s local timezone.

This is especially useful if you run online or multi-location sessions.

Membership Usage Alignment

Set how membership usage cycles align for weekly, monthly, or yearly memberships.

This setting determines how usage periods are calculated and reset. Proper alignment ensures memberships track usage consistently across billing periods.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Why are my class times showing differently for different customers?

Click here to see the answer

This usually relates to your Timezone Display setting under:

Settings → Registration → Calendar Settings

You can choose whether event times display in:

  • Customer Timezone – Times automatically adjust based on where the customer is located.

  • Venue Timezone – Times always display in the timezone of the event’s location.

If you run online sessions or have customers in multiple regions, displaying in the customer’s timezone can reduce confusion.

If your business operates from a single physical location, you may prefer using the venue timezone so all customers see the same time.

Can customers see how many people are booked into a class?

Click here to see the answer

Yes, however, this this depends on your Show Attendee Counts setting.

When enabled, customers will see either:

  • The number of attendees registered, or

  • The number of spaces remaining (depending on the platform view).

If disabled, attendee counts are hidden from customers.

You can adjust this in:

Settings → Registration → Calendar Settings

💡 Many businesses choose to display attendee counts to create urgency for popular sessions.

Can I change the day my calendar week starts on?

Click here to see the answer

Yes. You can choose which day your calendar week begins on by going to Settings → Registration → Calendar Settings

Select your preferred start day (e.g., Sunday or Monday).

This affects how your calendar displays across your customer-facing booking site and helps align with regional norms or your internal scheduling structure.

Why does the calendar sometimes say “All times relative to venue”?

Click here to see the answer

This appears when:

  • You have events across multiple timezones, and

  • Your calendar is set to display in venue time.

This message helps clarify that times shown correspond to each event’s physical location.
