đ Overview
You can change the day of the week or the day of the month that a customer's recurring membership is billed on, without cancelling and recreating their membership.
This guide shows you how to change the billing day for an individual customer, for both weekly and monthly memberships.
đĄ To change the billing date for everyone on a membership rather than one customer, see How to change the payment/billing date for all your customers here.
đ How To Change the Billing Day
You change the billing day from the customer's own profile, by editing the membership itself.
Go to the customer's profile page.
âClick the Memberships tab, then select the membership you want to change.
âClick Edit.
âScroll to the bottom of the page, where you will see the current billing day.
â
đď¸ Weekly memberships
Click the current billing day to change which day of the week the membership is billed on, then click Submit Changes.
đ Monthly memberships
Click the current billing date to change which day of the month the membership is billed on, then click Submit Changes.
â ď¸ Moving a billing date part way through a cycle can leave your customer owing a little more or a little less on their next payment. It is worth checking their next upcoming payment after making the change.

It can. If a customer paid on the 1st of September and you move their billing date to the 15th, their next payment covers a shorter period than usual, so they may be owed something.
You can edit the amount of that one payment without changing the membership price. For the steps, see Adjust an upcoming payment for a customer here.
Can I change the billing date for all my customers at once?

Yes. Rather than editing each customer individually, you can update the billing date across everyone on a membership, and adjust their payments so nobody underpays or overpays.
For the steps, see How to change the payment/billing date for all your customers here.
Can I skip a payment instead of moving the billing date?
