📝 Overview
Instant Payouts let you access your available Stripe balance within minutes, directly from your TeamUp dashboard — without logging in to Stripe or waiting for your next scheduled payout.
Standard payouts arrive on a T+1 schedule, which means funds from today's revenue typically land in your bank account the next business day. Instant Payouts give you the option to move available funds faster, whenever you need it — including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when standard payouts don't process.
The Instant Payouts widget appears on your dashboard home and is visible to account owners and admins only.
💡 Instant Payouts are separate from your regular payout schedule. Requesting an Instant Payout does not affect when your next standard payout arrives.
⭐ What are the benefits?
Get paid faster — Move your available Stripe balance to your bank account within minutes, rather than waiting until the next business day.
Available any time — Instant Payouts work 24/7, including weekends and bank holidays when standard payouts are paused.
Low, transparent fee — Each Instant Payout costs 1% of the payout amount (minimum £0.40 / $0.50 / €0.40). The fee is shown clearly before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
No setup required — If your account is eligible, the widget is ready to use on your dashboard home. Eligibility is assessed automatically.
💸 How to use Instant Payouts
From your dashboard, locate the Instant Payouts widget on your home screen.
Your available balance and the Instant Payout fee will be shown before you confirm.
Review the fee, then click Confirm to initiate the payout.
Funds will arrive in your linked bank account within minutes.
⚠️ The fee is deducted from the payout amount at the time of the transfer. Make sure your linked bank account supports fast payment receipt. Most major banks do, but if you're unsure, check with your bank.
🔍 Availability and limits
Who can use Instant Payouts?
Instant Payouts are available to operators using Stripe in supported countries, including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and most of the EU. Eligibility is assessed automatically by Stripe — if your account is eligible, the widget will be ready to use. If your account is not yet eligible, you'll see a message in the widget explaining this.
Which funds are available for Instant Payout?
Card payment funds are available immediately. Bank debit funds (such as ACH or SEPA) are only eligible after they have fully settled. Your available balance shown in the widget reflects what is currently eligible.
Daily limits
You can request up to 10 Instant Payouts per day. Each payout is also subject to per-transaction limits by currency — for example, between $0.50 and $9,999 USD, or £0.40 and £9,999 GBP. For a full breakdown of limits by currency, see Stripe's Instant Payouts documentation.
💡If you process a high volume of revenue in a single day, you may need to split larger balances across multiple Instant Payouts to stay within the per-transaction limit.

The widget is only visible to account owners and admins. If you're logged in as an instructor or staff member, you won't see it. If you're an owner or admin and the widget isn't showing, your account may not yet be eligible for Instant Payouts — this is assessed automatically by Stripe based on your account history and region.
What does "not yet eligible" mean?

Stripe determines eligibility based on factors including your account history, region, and payout track record. If your account isn't eligible yet, the widget will display a message letting you know. This may change over time as your account matures. There's no action required on your end.
Will requesting an Instant Payout affect my standard payout schedule?

No. Your regular payout schedule continues as normal. Instant Payouts move your currently available balance early — they don't replace or delay your standard payout.
Why is my available balance lower than I expected?

Only funds that have cleared and are eligible are included in your available balance. Card payments are typically available immediately, but bank debit payments (such as ACH or SEPA) take longer to settle and won't appear in your available balance until they do. Any pending or in-transit payments will not yet be available.
Is the Instant Payout fee included in my revenue reports?
