Yes, you are now able to use a POS terminal to take face-to-face payment from your customers, without having to manually enter their card information.
Availability: This service is currently only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Finland, Czech Republic, and Malaysia.
TeamUp payments are currently compatible with two specific devices, the BBPOS WisePOS™ E or the Stripe Reader S700, which you can purchase from Stripe directly.
🧠 Example: If you're putting through a membership purchase on behalf of a customer, you can ask them to tap to pay via credit/debit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
Once you receive your terminal, you can follow the steps outlined in our support guide here in order to set it up and start taking payments.
Please note: TeamUp Payments are currently compatible only with the BBPOS WisePOS™ E and the Stripe Reader S700 readers.
Any other card readers may not be compatible with TeamUp Payments.
