How to save chat widget conversations for your future reference

TeamUp is switching CRM to offer you even better support than before. This means we will be removing our existing chat widget from your account on Tuesday 21st May and replacing it with a shiny new one.

πŸ’‘ There will be no break in service when we do this and you'll be able to email [email protected] any time you like.


You may want to save past conversations which are now "closed", although please note the transcript has been emailed to you already at the time the conversation was closed.

You may also want to do this for any conversations that are ongoing and we are waiting for you to reply so you have a reminder about what you still need to reply to us on.

You won't need to do this for any open/ongoing conversations awaiting TeamUp's reply, as we will transfer these over for you when we reply to you, but feel free to copy these too if you prefer.

Steps

1. Click on the Chat widget on the bottom-right corner of your screen.

2. Then once the chat box opens up, it'll automatically take you to a new conversation. So click on the "back" arrow to display past conversations.

3. Now, click on a conversation you would like to save and open it up.

4. Once the chat is opened up, you can highlight part or all of the conversation and copy it, so that you can paste and save it in a text file locally on your computer/preferred location of choice.
