đ Overview
If you have several instructors teaching online classes, there are two ways to set up Zoom, depending on whether they can share a single Zoom login.
If you're not running several classes at once, we'd recommend keeping things simple with one shared Zoom user. This guide walks through both setups.
đĄ Need to schedule more than one online class at the same time? See the guide here.
â One online venue, one Zoom user (recommended)
If your instructors teach online classes at different times, the easiest approach is to create one online venue and link all your online classes to it.
An online venue can be linked to just one Zoom user, so all of your instructors will use that user's login details to host their class. In the example below, the linked Zoom user is "Joe Bloggs", so every instructor logs into Zoom with those details.
đĄ You could set up a shared team email and password for this, if you'd rather not share your personal login details.
Once set up, remember to add your online venue to the desired Class Types.
đ„ Multiple online venues, multiple Zoom users
If you'd prefer each instructor to log in with their own details, you can give each one their own Zoom user and online venue. Follow the steps below.
Create a Zoom user for each instructor.
âCreate an online venue for each Zoom user by heading to Settings â Venues/Rooms.
âAdd each online venue to the corresponding time slots by heading to Events â Classes â Class Types â click the desired class.
đĄ This setup is the same as the one used for running classes at the same time. For the full steps, see the guide here.
