The bulk-create tool will create multiple discount codes, each with their own unique code (so you can give them out to different people).

You will be able to export the list of discount codes as plaintext after you create them.

For example, you might want to print out vouchers that your customers can purchase and gift. You can use the bulk-create tool to create a batch of codes and download them.

To create discount codes in bulk, head to Discount Codes >> Discount Codes >> Bulk Create.

Here, enter the number of codes you need to create:

Then, configure the rest of the discount code settings as usual. If you need any help with these settings, please see Setting up a discount code.

Note: you'll need to update each code individually if you want to adjust the purchase type usability.

After you've saved the settings, you'll be able to view the list of codes.

Managing bulk discount codes

View

From Discount Codes >> Discount Codes, you can filter by group to view all the codes within that group.

Edit

If you need to edit a specific code within the group, click 'Detail' next to the code and then, 'Edit'.

If you want to update the settings on all the codes within a group, you'll need to deactivate the group (see below) and create a new batch of codes.

Deactivate/Activate

To deactivate all the codes within a group, head to Discount Codes >> Discount Codes >> filter by desired group >> click on the group name >> Click 'Deactivate'.

You can make the group active again by clicking 'Activate all'.

Download

To download the codes within a group, head to Discount Codes >> Discount Codes >> filter by desired group >> click on the group name >> Click 'Copy all codes'.

Then, paste them into a text editor (i.e., Word, Google Docs, etc.) or a spreadsheet (Excel, Numbers, etc.).

In the example below, the codes have been pasted into an Excel spreadsheet:

Please note that you will only be able to copy active codes. To copy a list of inactive codes, simply make them active (as seen above), copy the codes and then make the group inactive again if needed.
