You can enable the Learn To Skate integration for Membership purchases, Classes, Appointments, and Courses, so that customers need to provide their membership number in order to complete their registration.
In order to enable the Learn To Skate integration, you must first contact us and let us know, so we can add it to your account.
You can start a chat with us from within your business dashboard, or you can email us here.
Once the Learn To Skate integration has been added to your business, you can enable it by going to Settings ➔ Integrations ➔ Learn To Skate and click on "Get Started".
In the page that loads, you will see a toggle on the top-left indicating that the Learn To Skate integration is disabled, so you can toggle this on to enable it. Once it's been enabled, you will see a list of all available Memberships, Classes, Courses, and Appointments which you can set to require customers to provide their Learn To Skate membership number for, in order to complete their purchase or registration.
Once you click on Save, customers who attempt to purchase any membership, or register for any sessions you have selected, will find they are first asked to enter their Learn To Skate membership number in order to continue.
Once they enter their correct membership id and click on Continue, they will be able to complete their purchase/registration, however, if the membership number they have entered is incorrect, they will see the error displayed below, and will need to re-enter their correct membership number in order to continue.
If your customer is not yet registered with Learn To Skate USA, and therefore don't yet have a membership number, they can click on the option displayed in that box which will redirect them to the Learn To Skate USA Website in order to complete their registration before continuing.
How to check a customers Membership Number and expiration date.
If a customer has added their Learn To Skate membership number, you can view this information in the Reports ➔ Customers ➔ Customer Details ➔ Field Changes, and filtering the results to show you the Learn To Skate Membership Number and Expiration fields.
Removing the Learn To Skate integration
If you would like to disable the integration, you can do this by going to Settings ➔ Integrations ➔ Learn To Skate ➔ Options ➔ Manage.
In the page that loads (here) and click on the "Disable" option in the Status section on the top-left, and you will then see the following message confirming you would like to disable the integration.
Once you click on Disable, the integration will be removed, and customers will no longer be asked to verify their Learn To Skate USA membership number.
