Notification types sent to the business

Here we outline the different notification types we send to staff members and the permissions required in order to receive each notification. 

Note. Admins and Owners will have access to all notification types.

Customer signup

Sent when a customer signs up from the customer site. Not sent when a customer is simply added from the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers OR Admin OR Owner

Customer form submissions

Sent when a customer submits a form other than the signup form. This is currently limited to only a system-managed "Customer information" form that customers submit prior to registering for a class or purchasing a membership.

Required permissions: customers OR Admin OR Owner

Customer field changes

Sent when a customer edits the value of a field from the customer site's My Account section. This is not sent when a field value changes as part of a form submission.

Required permissions: customers OR Admin OR Owner

Class registrations

Sent when a customer registers for a class via the customer site or the business dashboard. It is not sent if a customer is registered via a reservation or block booking.

Required permissions: customers, manage sessions, or manage attendances. If manage sessions or manage attendances is configured to be "sessions they instructor," the notification will only be sent about classes they instruct. OR Admin OR Owner

Multi-class registrations

Sent when a customer is registered for multiple classes at once from the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers, manage sessions, or manage attendances. There is no filtering based on instructed or not instructed classes. OR Admin OR Owner

Class leaves

Sent when a customer leaves a class. It is not sent when a customer is removed as part of cancelling the class.

Required permissions: customers, manage sessions, or manage attendances. If manage sessions or manage attendances is configured to be "sessions they instructor," the notification will only be sent about classes they instruct. OR Admin OR Owner

Course registrations

Sent when a customer registers for a course from either the business dashboard or customer site.

Required permissions: customers, manage sessions, or manage attendances. If manage sessions or manage attendances is configured to be "sessions they instructor," the notification will only be sent about classes or courses they instruct. OR Admin OR Owner

Course single session registrations

Sent when a customer register for a single session of a course from either the customer site or the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers, manage sessions, or manage attendances. If manage sessions or manage attendances is configured to be "sessions they instructor," the notification will only be sent about classes or courses they instruct. OR Admin OR Owner

Membership upgrades

Sent when a customer's membership is upgraded from either the customer site or the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers OR revenue OR Admin OR Owner

Membership cancellations

Sent when a customer's membership is cancelled from either the customer site or the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers OR revenue OR Admin OR Owner

Store orders

Sent when a new store order is created from either the customer site or the business dashboard.

Required permissions: customers OR revenue OR store OR Admin OR Owner

Store out of stock alerts

Sent when a product in the store is at 0 inventory.

Required permissions: revenue OR store OR Admin OR Owner

Store invoice payments

Sent when a store order's invoice has been paid.

Required permissions: customers OR revenue OR store OR Admin OR Owner
